Omega Restaurant in Niles

Went here on the first day restaurants re-opened due to Covid. Many precautions taken. GREAT food--my mom and I both had enough food to take home for a second meal. Waitress and staff were very friendly.

Great breakfast spot! They start you off with a baked item ours was a muffin of sorts with a strawberry glaze and icing. Skillets were great and plenty to split between two people. I also got a blueberry muffin which was huge and amazing! Service wasn't the best which is why only 4 stars but definitely a great place to eat.

One of our favorite places for breakfast! Always friendly atmosphere, your cup of coffee is never empty and great food! Recently ordered lunch for a takeout and they put us some cookies!🍪it was so nice!

This is the first time we ate there and it was outstanding will go again. Very good food and service.

Pretty decent diner! Food was good for diner food. We had the gyros and Greek salad. I wasn’t a huge fan of the feta (didn’t have that signature feta taste) or the anchovies but it was still tasty. The gyros was also good. They have an impressive array of bakery sweets. It’s a very nice looking diner and the service was outstanding. Robust menu as well. Try them out!

This restaurant provides wonderful service and tasty menu. The best restaurant around here. The meals came out quick and the rates were fair. I recommend this place.

Great place! Everything I have had here has been delicious, never been disappointed. It's open all the time. I love coming here at like 2am and having a yummy breakfast. Can't recommend this place enough

Food is very good. Portion size is great. A little expensive but considering what you are getting, I guess its priced right.

Good service. Horrible food. Microwaved baked onion soup... gave it to me cold. But cheese melted. Sent it back. I expected a fresh baked onion soup out of the ove . Came right back after 1 min. I asked if it was microwaved. They said yes. It was bland and tasteless. Burnt toast. Dirty plates cups and silverware. Sausage links were not cooked all the way. I would never go back.

Had the Athenian skirt steak:The rice it comes with, was good, a little too lemony, but definitely good...The steak: the best thing I’ve had so far on their menu, it was flavorful simplicity, and quite possibly the most tender skirt, I’ve ever had in a restaurant setting.DEFINITELY... A dish to have again.Big side note:Open 24 hours!They bake their own desserts, big menu, and you can have breakfast, anytime time of the day!

Well other restaurants have added outdoor seating that is adequate Omega has gone over the top putting up a tent with the most adorable lighting and table cloths creating a quaint atmosphere. Great outdoor spot for evening salads in the summer. Wait staff friendly and efficient.

The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. We really enjoyed the environment of this spot. Fantastic spot to take the family out for lunch.

I have been coming here for a few years now, and their food is incredible. The servers are great. I love the options they offer in their menu.

It's a good place. The only thing that's slightly a problem is that there is over 300 menu items and yet only 200 of those are available at any available time. So it's alot to choose from. Expect average wait times for food. Servers arnt completely up to date with menu items or availability of menu items. A good place with a little changes that can make it a great place.

Excellent onion soup 🍲 😋

I live close to Omega and have been there many times for many different meals at all times of the day or night. I’ve never been disappointed. The food is always good and there’s always plenty of it! Then there’s the soups, salads and yummy desserts made in their in-house bakery! I always wind up bringing something home!

There is rarely a wait and we are always welcomed immediately upon arrival. Everyone from the greeter to the servers are always friendly and accommodating. The portions are generous and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The food is always fresh, obviously cooked to order but my favorite is the complimentary coffee cake they serve upon seating. For sure one of my favorite brunch places of the north suburbs. Five stars!

I absolutely love this place! I've eaten here a few times and have not been disappointed once! Chicken in the Souvlaki is very tender and juicy, & burger was mouthwatering! Customer service is excellent! Highly recommend eating here

They have a vast menu and most items are quite good. I don't recommend the corned beef sandwich - its dry and not much corned beef in it. Wait staff are all friendly and food comes quickly.

I have been coming to the Omega for many years now from the original owners to the present, and have never been disappointed. The food, and the help are all great. There are not too many family type restaurants anymore with everything being more trendy. Omega has everything from breakfast, lunch and complete dinners along with their wonderful deserts. Let's help support places like this especially in the times we are in. I ate inside a few weeks ago and everything was kept nice and clean. The weather in a short while will start to get cooler do not be afraid to go in.

Only come to Omega when you want to eat a lot. Their extensive menu is loaded with delicious meals, all oversized. Plan for doggy bags!

Great tasting food and generous portions. I love that it has 24 hour service and the basket of bread they bring once you’ve been seated. Great and friendly service, at times funny and kind. Would recommend it, as it is a diner worth your 💵! The cream soups are delicious!!!! So are the pastas. There is a variety of dishes for the whole family.

I treat myself to a date out at least once a month and my go to date is a movie and coming to this Omega for a meal. I have never had anything bad here, and the staff is very friendly. The have a good variety of daily specials. I particularly love their baked onion soup, but every meal I've had has been so good! The giant mozzarella sticks are very good as well. Definitely recommend.

I have only tried the Gyro Platter, Mozza Ball Soup, and Asparagus Crab Soup so far which is why I've given 4 stars instead of 5. All three were excellent. The service is great and the food arrived in a timely manner. I would go again.

It was a bad day. Someone screwed up the usually mighty fine coffee and the waitress didn't seem to care. Foods came out in good time and were delicious.

Their prices are on the high side. We had a half tuna sandwich, which came with a bowl of soup and some salad on the plate with the half sandwich. It was $14.99 + $1.00 since it is a special for lunch and it was dinner time. The tuna was very bland, it could use some sweet relish in it to perk it up a bit. If I were to comprehend another restaurant to this, I would have to say The Continental Restaurant in Buffalo Grove is much better for the same type of food. Prices are also better.

Terrible service. Best part is the sick person sitting a table away from me and my mother who wouldn’t stop coughing and not to mention not wearing her mask while coughing and not a single worker said anything to them.

Always a pleasure to come here whether in the morning or late at night. They have a huge variety of food to pick from and is also a 24 hour breakfast place. Did I forget to mention it? It is 24 HOURS!! Huge portions and plenty of bread items for starters. Enjoy the bakery in the center and take something to go!

Came after church on Sunday. There was a bit of a wait to be seated. Good service. Great breakfast. I had The Chicken Coop which was more than enough food.

Food is very delicious, presentation is excellent; the ambiance and the place itself is cool, staff are friendly and respectful, price is okay and the menu is varied....

This is an old school place. My personal experience was only four stars, I ordered a biscuit and gravy breakfast and the gravy was not what I was expecting. Weirdly pink in color, and the sausage so fine it was more gritty than chunky. I’d try something else but not that again.

Same perfect diner I remember from my childhood. I had bagels and lox platter and of course 3 special treats for the beautiful pastry cases. Fabulous!

How can a Pancake house mess up breakfast? Listed as a Top 3 Diner? By who? More like bottom third of the list then top! Can't go wrong with Breakfast at a Pancake house you say...Omega will change that! Egg white omelette was dreadful! Hash browns were cold and undercooked! Coffee was even cold! Management was cold as well addressing this and said we were "holding up the line" 0 Stars!

Hole baked goods, Batman! This place not only has an incredibly sizable and delicious menu, the bakery counter is something to behold! They've got everything from cannoli to baklava to pumpkin rolls, to dipped shortbread horseshoes the size of actual horseshoes! Absolutely worth a stop, if for nothing else, just to grab some coffee and an amazing sweet treat. We will be back, assuredly.

I have Been coming here for years and only have good things to say. The large menu makes it so that anyone can dine here and enjoy.

I have been a regular at the Omega Restaurant in Schaumburg for several years now. It's our go-to restaurant when we just want to get out and have a bite to eat, or want to go for brunch on a Sunday. Great food, good prices and substantial portions (you won't go away hungry!) Last night I went to the Omega in Niles, IL for the first time. I was very impressed, both with the environment, the staff (who were exceedingly pleasant and efficient) and, of course, the food. It's a great family restaurant, highly recommended.

I've been to place million times, this place is working 0/24, always clean and fast service. Very wide options with food and deserts! I Love their bakery and strogganoff pasta!

I normally only write reviews if something is really bad or really spectacular. This review is of the spectacular nature. I went myself at around 8:00pm during the week and ordered their Chopped Steak with Grilled Onions, Baked Potato, and a Salad. EVERYTHING was spectacular and cooked perfectly. The waitress (I forgot her name) didn't skip a beat with her flawless service. Needless to say I will be back !

I would give this NO stars if I could! I ordered a simple soup and salad, paid $32.00 including delivery and NEVER AGAIN will I go here! Received order and missing 1/2 of it, NO $6 SOUP, NO DRESSING, NO ROLLS that's 1/2 my order! I can't eat anything! It's obviously Omega's fault, but they are blaming Grub Hub then Grub Hub is blaming the restaurant and NEITHER are willing to do anything for me! If I wanted to pick up my order I would NOT have paid for delivery!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT OMEGAS and Grub Hub!!!

Great customer experience the food is always hot when ordered and you get more for your money the owner is very nice as well as the staff our favorite place to eat
